Jeu de paume

Recently I’ve seen two great exhibitions in Jeu de Paume: “Ai Weiwei – Interlacing ” and “Berenice Abbott (1898-1991) Photographs”.

I love Berenice Abbott’s urban landscapes, where you see New York in all its beauty and geometry.

As for Ai Weiwei, I’ve learnt about him thanks to Michael and the french press. I admire his works and critical thinking.  To give you a picture of his personality and his work I’ll cite the text  from the official website of Jeu de paume because I find it concise and quite complete: ” As an architect, conceptual artist, sculptor, photographer, blogger, Twitterer, interview artist, and cultural critic, he is a sensitive observer of current topics and social problems: a great communicator and networker who brings life into art and art into life.”
