Leading lines

Here are some examples of leading lines. The first one I took in Vatican museum at the end of our visit when I was so ready to leave;-)  I like the way the stairs take you gradually to very bottom where you can see the last three steps lit up with yellow light and a christmas tree. The second photo was taken at the same place but from another angle and I like it for its diagonal fluid lines and warm shadows of lights with grey color create a certain harmony. The third picture was taken in the center of Rome and I wanted to have this nice looking building and the line of lights representing the colors of  the Italian flag (though white looks blue on my photo). I like the stillness of the building opposed to the movement of the traffic and the line of lights leading us far away. And the last picture was taken in Paris, first I noticed the stairs and then when I came up closer to take a picture I saw the reflection and I liked it, pressed the button and now I have it)) In short, these photos are special to me and I wanted to share them with you 🙂

  1. Masha,

I took very similar photos of the staircase at the Vatican as well! I loved the lines. I’ll share them with you when I get around to starting my blog.

Beautiful photos, keep the posts coming 🙂
